Vijaya Nirvana is an adept Yoga Therapist with 12 years of experience, holding a degree in Yoga & Spirituality from S-VYASA University and a Master’s in Yoga Therapy from Manipal University.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I attend during periods?
We suggest you to not to join our regular sessions during the periods as it will be a movement based practice which is not suitable during periods.
Instead we will provide you a guided practice videos that are ideal during periods.
Is it safe to attend during pregnancy?
Yogasana practice is very safe and beneficial during pregnancy provided it is modified accordingly.
However this workshop has a different purpose, so we won't be able to cater to such requirements.
I've endometriosis/uterine fibroid/pcos. Will yoga therapy help me cure it?
Addressing such women's health complications requires a comprehensive approach that includes lifestyle adjustments and a tailored movement routine, which we'll explore through Yoga Therapy in this workshop.
However It's equally important to acknowledge that these conditions often have underlying & deep rooted imbalances, necessitating medical interventions. To ensure effective management and an enhanced quality of life, we advise seeking guidance from an Ayurveda physician.

What's the difference between Yoga and Yoga Therapy?
Yoga, even though practiced now mostly in terms of Asana, is originally a holistic practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and ethical principles to promote overall well-being of an individual.
Yoga therapy, on the other hand, is a more specialized approach that uses yoga techniques to address specific health conditions or concerns (especially highly effective in case of lifestyle disorders), often under the guidance of a medically trained Yoga therapist. It includes tailor-made modules of yoga to reverse OR to manage the specific conditions which also support physical, mental, & emotional healing of the individual.
What if I can't attend 6:30 AM every morning or I'm living in a different timezone ?
How will I continue my practice after the workshop ?
You will be given plenty of follow-up material with guided practice videos and you will be a member of NIRVANA COMMUNITY APP to clarify your doubts whenever you need to.
I have never practiced yoga. Can I join this challenge ?
Definitely ! All the practice modules will be beginner friendly and we also provide modifications for each Asana wherever is required, which will make it even more easier for you to follow along.
I suffer from Diabetes, BP, Thyroid, Back & Knee pain, Can I practice Yoga?
